Recently, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s released a dataset that contained over 250,000 records, included patent applications and granted patents; the USPTO was interested in the insights this data could reveal to guide cancer research. Di Cross, Director of Research at Clarivate Analytics, talks about her team’s recent award winning submission to the USPTO’s challenge around data analysis and visualization for the Cancer Moonshot Initiative.
